Yamamotogyuzo - Japanese & Korean Restaurant

Restaurant Review by A. K.

Today I'll introduce a combined Korean and Japanese style restaurant. The restaurant's name is Yamamotogyuzo. It is in Azabujuban in a six-story building. It's about a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Azabujuban Station.

I went to eat there with my friends. The restaurant's foods and drinks were our favorite taste. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm. There is a half-private room and a VIP room.

First, we ate various kinds of pickled cabbage (kimchi moriawase) and pickled vegetables (namuru moriawase), which are appetizers. I also ate beef soup (gyusuji nikomi) and broiled liver. The broiled liver tastes so good. They also have raw heart (hatsusashi) and raw tripe (senmaisashi).

The restaurant's main menu is fillet of roast pork (samugyopusaru) and tripe soup (motsu nabe). There are two types of taste for the tripe soup. Akanabe is spicy, while shironabe has a soy sauce base.

There are various kinds of drinks, such as beer, cocktails, shochu, sake, wine and makkori. These drinks and foods are a good combination. The price for one person is about ¥4000.

Yamamotogyuzo is open from 18:00 to 3:00 a.m. It is open on Sunday. Yamamotogyuzo is very popular, so I recommend you go there early.
