How much money do you usually pay for kaisen-don? Many people pay ￥1000 or more. What a rip off; it’s so expensive!! I will tell you the shocking truth. Kanagawa’s seafood tastes terrible and it's too expensive. Especially, kaisen-don is just fish on rice. Now I have question. Does that look so expensive? I don’t think so. Now I will show you the beautiful kaisen-don at a normal price. (Check the photo at right.)

This is a Yamagata seafood restaurant called Kaisen-Ichiba. It means “Seafood-Market.” It has many kinds of fresh seafood at a lower price. This dish is called “Nandemo-Nose-Don,” which means “Special Mixed Dish.” How much money will you pay for this? This dish has o-toro, kyu-toro, and salmon roe. The price of this dish is ￥650. What an amazing price!!

There are many menu items in this restaurant, but you should not order “Kaisen-Hamburg.” It will kill your tongue, and you might think you never want to go there again. It is really not delicious. But trust me, the other menu items are cheap and really delicious!!

I think you probably won't have a chance to go to this restaurant, but please try to go to “Kaisen-Ichiba” if you go up to Yamagata.

Senpuku - Korean Barbecue

Have you eaten Korean food? I’ll introduce a Korean barbecue restaurant where you can eat real Korean food. This restaurant is Senpuku in Yokosuka.

This restaurant has many kinds of meat and Korean dishes. The dishes include Bibinba, Kuppa, Namuru, Chijimi, Chige, and more. I recommend these, especially to the person who likes hot foods.

The inside of this restaurant is done in an old-style, with a Japanese-style room. It’s a Korean barbecue restaurant, so I don’t know why there is a fish tank inside the shop.

The photo is of the Family Set. This Price is about ￥3000, and the volume is exactly good for eating by three or four people. So I recommend that you eat this together with your family or friends.

Senpuku is located near the Yokosuka-Chuo Station. It’s about five minutes on foot. If you go to Senpuku on a holiday, I recommend you reserve because it is locally popular. I have heard that celebrities and baseball players sometimes come to the restaurant.

Every menu is very delicious, so it is worth going here. And please introduce it to your family.

My Recent Favorite Restaurant - Lino Bambino

I will introduce an Italian restaurant, Lino Bambino, located in Setagaya, Tokyo. This restaurant has reasonable prices and very delicious cuisine.

The music is flowing and there is a very good atmosphere. There is counter seating and table seating. I like to sit at the counter because I like to talk with the chef. The chef is a very interesting person who has some strong beliefs. For example, he bans children from running around. He has the confidence to make his Pepperontino. Even if I order the lady crab pasta, he provides Pepperontino.

The types of wine are abundant, I prefer to drink white wine. My favorite dishes are boiled shrimp in garlic oil and broiled beef tongue with red wine sauce. Both are a reasonable price at ￥600. Moreover, they are very tasty. We have always ordered them. There are many ￥300 menu items and ￥600 menu items in this restaurant. I was eating from the ￥300 menu, such as oyster gratin, pumpkin salad and sardines in oil. Various kinds of food can be ordered, because the dishes are. There is also a diet menu, but I have not ordered from it yet.

I recommend this Italian restaurant. You can eat very comfortably because there are separate areas for smokers and non-smokers. The chef can also cook a small pizza at the request of customers.

Plumeria Cafe - Relaxing Restaurant

I’d like to introduce Plumeria Cafe. This restaurant is very calm. You can have lunch for ￥1500. The contents of the lunch are fresh spring roll, marinated salmon, soup, pasta, potato, drink, salad, sweet. ￥1500 in total! It is so cheap! And you can also charter the restaurant so you can celebrate a birthday. There are many delicious sweets. My favorite menu is kinako parfait. It’s so delicious!!! If your stomach is full, you can still eat it.
