Peppers Drive-in - Fashionable Curry Restaurant

Today I will introduce Peppers. Peppers is a drive-in restaurant with curries as the main item. Peppers has only one restaurant. This restaurant's atmosphere is very good and both the exterior and interior are American style. There are many amazing figures in front of the counter seats. This restaurant is a popular Insta spot for young people.

At this restaurant you can decide the size, spiciness and toppings of the curry. There are many combinations. From the menu, I chose chicken cutlet and hot vegetable topping curry, and I drank ginger ale. If you order curry and a drink together, the drinks get a 100 yen discount. The normal curry size price is 500 yen, chicken cutlet and warm vegetables are 350 yen, ginger ale is 380 yen. This curry and ginger ale price total was 1480 yen. The warm vegetables include broccoli, pumpkin, green beans, carrots and corn. The chicken cutlet and warm vegetables were tender. This curry was very delicious and the curry smell was also very good.

There are also side menu items such as salads, potatoes, desserts and beers. I ordered a chocolate parfait for dessert. This parfait has a very large volume. It is impressive to see Oreo cookies and M&M's chocolate on the whipped cream. Vanilla and chocolate ice cream in the parfait are also very tasty. This chocolate parfait price is 780 yen. The most popular item in this restaurant is the banana split. It is a special dessert and the price is 1500 yen. It is slightly expensive, but I would like you to eat it by all means.

It is recommended that you go to this restaurant as a couple, a family or with a friend. There are 5 table seats and 5 counter seats and this restaurant is popular locally, so the seats will be full immediately. This restaurant also accepts reservations. There is a parking lot and you can come by car. If you want to eat your own special curry, please go to Peppers.

Umeya - A Novelty Tantan Noodle Shop In Yokohama

I went to Chukasoba Umeya which is located in Kanazawa-bunko Station, Yokohama. You can go to Umeya in 3-4 minutes from Kanazawa-bunko Station on the Keihin-kyukou Line. When I arrived at Umeya, it was crowded with many people. This restaurant has 14 counter seats and 1 table for four. Umeya's standard menu is Chukasoba (中華そば). This ramen has a tonkotsu (pork bone) base and fish broth sauce (740yen).

I chose the weekday limited menu. It was called Hiyashi-tounyu-Tantanmen (cold soy milk tartan noodle) and it cost 940 yen.  This noodle dish has many interesting points. First, it is made with chili oil and soy milk. Next, the noodles are topped with tomato and Japanese-mizuna. Finally, this dish is chilled in the refrigerator. It has a wonderful taste of chilli oil and soy milk broth.

Umeya offers upgrade service for students every Monday. Students must present their school ID to get this discount service.  It's very good service for gluttons like me. But this service isn't available on Mondays that are national holidays. If you use this service, you must check your calendar.

Cobakaba - Japanese Style Breakfast

I went to Cobakaba, which is located in Kamakura. You can go there in about three minutes from Kamakura Station. There were some people already waiting in front of the shop when I arrived. Cobakaba offers some Japanese style set meals that are called teishoku. For example, they have Tamago Kake Gohan (egg on rice) Teishoku, Natto Teishoku, Aji (saurel) Teishoku, Sake (salmon) Teishoku and so on. These are offered for less than 1000 yen. I ate the Saba (mackerel) Teishoku, which is 1250 yen. It was such a delicious and healthy breakfast.

This restaurant isn’t a large space  but it’s calm and has warmth of the wood in the shop. The shop has counter seats and table seats. If you sit at a counter seat, you can see the town of Kamakura while eating the meal. In this shop, you have to get the Teishoku from the counter by yourself and you pay in advance.

If you want to go, I suggest visiting in the morning, because Kamakura is a famous place that is always crowded. Actually, although I went to Kamakura at 9 a.m., there were already people there. But Cobakaba is open from 7 a.m. to 14 p.m., so if you can possibly go early,  it is better than before it gets crowded.

Noge⭐︎Taimu - Cheap and Tasty.

The restaurant I will introduce is "Noge☆Taimu". This restaurant is an izakaya. An izakaya is a style of Japanese Pub. In this restaurant you can eat grilled meat, seafood, and vegetables with a shichirin. A shichirin is a small charcoal grill. It's portable and perfect for two or three people. You can eat outside or inside the restaurant.

There are plenty of kinds of food in the restaurant, so you can eat slowly. When you eat outside, dining is standing style, so the menu is a little different. But all foods are offered  for 300 yen before tax. The menu item I ordered this time was an assortment of meat and rice.

This is an assortment of meat. From the front of the photo, you can see sasami, (chicken breast strips) kashira, (pork cheek) seseri (chicken neck meat), reba (pork liver), kobukuro (pork uterus). Sasami is plain tasting. Kashira has a lot of fat and it's delicious. Reba is so fluffy and thick and smooth. The kobukuro's texture is interesting. This is the menu I ate this time. This restaurant is in Noge of Sakuragi-cho. The restaurant doesn't have a parking lot, so use a nearby parking lot. This restaurant doesn't accept credit cards.

Horizon Bay Restaurant - My Recommended Disney Sea Restaurant

Today I will review Horizon Bay Restaurant. This restaurant is located at Port Discovery in Tokyo Disney Sea. I think this restaurant is the most popular restaurant in Tokyo Disney Sea. This restaurant type is European buffeteria service. The word 'buffeteria' was coined by Disney. You take a tray, choose your favorite dish from the dishes arranged on the counter, get your drinks, and pay the bill before going to your table. You can choose 2 items from soup, salad and dessert, 1 entree, bread or rice, and soft drinks in this restaurant. The set price is 3020 yen. There are also children's sets and menus for people with allergies. The biggest feature of this restaurant is that you can meet Disney characters. In this restaurant you can meet Mickey, Minnie and Pluto.


The picture on the left is the menu I chose. The salad I chose is called Caesar salad. The entrees that I chose were grilled beef stew and oven-baked chicken. My dessert was chocolate cake. I also chose rice and coke. They were all very delicious. They were bigger than they look in these pictures.

Manoa Aloha Table - Hawaiian Restaurant

I went to Manoa Aloha Table with my friend.

This is a Hawaiian-style restaurant, so there are many beautiful ornaments, like hibiscus, coconut and so on. There are many families and adults who enjoy drinking alcohol, so people of all ages enjoy this restaurant.

The restaurant atmosphere is good so I had a nice time. I sat at a table near the outside, where there are green plants. But I couldn't take a picture because the outside table was popular, so many people sat there. I ordered fried chicken, lemonade and Loco Moco.

There is a drink bar with many kinds of drinks. If you order something, the drink bar is free. There is coffee, berries detox water, lemonade, and tea. I drank lemonade. Also the coffee is delicious. This restaurant uses Hawaiian coffee beans, so the taste is different from Japanese coffee. In addition, customers are able to take out coffee for free.

Loco Moco is the most popular meal and it is Hawaiian food. Ingredients are hamburg steak, egg, rice and vegetable. There are sweets and lots of whipped cream on the pancakes and many kinds of sake on the shelf. Of course, it was very delicious. In addition, the price was reasonable, so that I paid only about 1000 yen. If you want to try, make a reservation and you can sit at a table with a nice view.
